The eleventh instalment of the serialised interview 'Adventures in Qualia' has been published on the Shueisha web media platform, Yomitai. In this episode,  Takato Horii of Osaka University, a member of the planning team,  explained, in a talk titled “Can We Create Robots That Have Emotions?”, the question of why we can share emotions with others who have different bodies, from a constructive approach.

I was struck by the way he framed the problem: “Why can we share emotions with others who have different bodies?”
